BECOME A MEMBER



We welcome all who have trusted in Christ alone for the forgiveness of their sins to attend and become a member of Parkview Baptist Church. We also welcome those who are seeking a relationship with a church and are new to the faith.  

 

For those who have trusted in Christ, who agree with the doctrinal position and values of our church, and who desire to make Parkview Baptist Church their home, we welcome you to our church membership. The New Testament presents membership in a local church as the normal pattern for believers who are committed to one another in the body of Christ (Hebrews 10:24-25; Acts 2:41-47).


Membership is a more formal covenant relationship between a person and a local church body.  By becoming a member, you will be able to vote on key decisions facing our church and participate in leadership within our ministries.


  • For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God  (Romans 3:23)
  • For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God…. Not of works, lest any man

        should boast.  (Ephesians 2:8-9)

  • For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit   (1 Peter 3:18).
  • For whosever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13)
  • My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall ever perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.  (John 10:27-28)

A Message From Our Pastor


Becoming a member of our church is an opportunity to formally identify with our church family and join us in our mission of following Christ together.  To become a member, we ask that you faithfully attend our worship services for at least three months, complete our Starting Point Church Membership Classes, profess your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, have been scripturally baptized by immersion as a public testimony of your faith, and be in agreement with our Church Constitution and Membership Covenant. We look forward to welcoming you into our church family as we worship, serve, and grow together in Christ.
